How to Make a Great Day Out with Your Family
Spending time with our families is really important, it’s one of those things that you might regret later on in life, if you don’t make the most of the time you have together now. That’s easy to say until you start to think of activities that you can do and, all enjoy. In the effort to help you with what could be a daunting task, here are some of the best things you can do in and around Narooma NSW;
Discover surfing
The Narooma coastline is scattered with beautiful beaches, each one offers something a little different, for example, good surfing conditions. So, why not try your hand at surfing? It might not appeal to your family members to begin with although, most people will eventually get over themselves and have a go. They tend to find out that, it’s great fun, even if you have absolutely 0 skills, trying can be one of the most enjoyable parts.
Swimming with seals
One of the most unique things that you could get everyone involved in would be going on a seal swimming boat expedition. There are some tour operators that can take you seal swimming in Narooma, they operate in and around the bays and, they offer boat journeys to and from where you will get the time to experience swimming with seals, yes you read that correctly, swimming with real life seals, what an adventure, there might even be some food and beverages on offer.
Bike ride along the Dalmeny cycle route
You also have the choice of a bike ride along the Dalmeny cycle route, it’s a 21-kilometer-long track that follows the shores of Watonga Inlet, the Pacific Ocean and Mummia Lake. Most people like cycling so this should be a good one for everyone to agree on, it holds some fantastic scenery, although, not everyone will be up for the whole 21-kilometer trek which is understandable, especially if the sun is scorching hot. You could agree on just riding a particular part of the route, just be sure not to leave any slackers behind.
Try your hand at golf
If you haven’t tried golf before then, you really should give it a go, some people are naturals and do really well right from the start, others take a little more practice, there are those however that will never get it but love hitting the ball as far as they can. It kind of makes it a perfect family activity as there is a little something for everyone, whether they want to take it seriously or just have a bit of fun.
